We regret to share the passing of Bruce Wilks who passed away suddenly on Sunday September 11, 2022, just a few days shy of his 86thbirthday. Bruce was born and grew up in Toronto where he wore many hats during his working life including that of a mechanic.  He owned and raced a drag car at tracks around southern Ontario for many years before he returned to school, at the encouragement of his wife Carol and finished a teacher’s college. After several years of teaching, he decided he missed working with his hands, qualified as a millwright, and worked at York University until his retirement. Donations to the Barth Syndrome Foundation of Canada, a charity that was close to his heart, are greatly appreciated.
